How to Register for SRF Online World Convocation

(for YSS devotees)

Join us for a week of spiritual inspiration from August 9 – 15, 2020

This Convocation celebrates the 100th anniversary of Paramahansa Yogananda’s arrival in America—and brings together the entire YSS/SRF worldwide family for a week of collective spiritual renewal and divine fellowship.

This event is being offered online and is free of charge to all YSS/SRF devotees and friends.

The program includes:

  • “How-to-live” teachings
  • Meditation techniques (for Lesson Members only)
  • Online guided group meditations and kirtans (devotional chanting)
  • Virtual pilgrimage tours to the SRF ashrams
  • Special class on Kriya Yoga(for Kriyabans only)
Lectures will be recorded and will be available for limited time after the convocation. To view the live sessions during the convocation week as well as to view the recordings at a later date, you will need to register for the Convocation.

A. Register for SRF Convocation 2020


1. To register for the SRF convocation, please open your web browser (e.g., Google Chrome) on your computer or mobile. Open the webpage https://yogananda.org/registration to go to the SRF Convocation 2020 registration page.


2. Guest Login (for non SRF/YSS members)


If you are not a YSS/SRF Lesson Student (member), you can tap/click on “Register/Log In as a Guest” and register for the convocation with your email id or your Facebook or Google account. All sessions, except Technique classes are open to guests for viewing.


3. YSS Lesson member login


If you are a YSS Lesson member, tap/click on YSS Member and type in your YSS Devotee Portal’s Email Address & Password. After entering your email id and password, Tap/click Register/Log in at the bottom of the screen.


4. Upon successful registration, you will see a picture of Guruji on the screen. Tap/click on the Menu (click on ≡ the top right corner of the screen) to see “Hello” and your name to confirm registration. On a computer, you will see “Hello” and your name directly.


If you do not see “Hello” and your name, but get the following screen with an error message on the registration page, then click here for help to get a new temporary password for your devotee portal


5. Once you are registered, you can view the videos/events of Convocation 2020.

NOTE:To view the Convocation 2020 events, you should be Logged/Signed in. Do Not Logout. If you are logged out, on a mobile phone tap on the menu again and select LogIn; (on a computer, click on “Join Convocation”,) to go back to the registration page, Type your email id and password and login to the Convocation page.


6. Congratulations, you have successfully registered for the 2020 SRF Online World Convocation.

B. Registration help

How to get a temporary password on YSS Devotee Portal


1. In your browser window, open the webpage https://devotees.yssofindia.org/reset_password. to open the Reset Password page. Type in your YSS Devotee Portal Email & click Submit.


2. If you get a confirmation of Success! that your YSS Devotee Portal Password has been reset, a Password Reset email will be sent to your Email Account.


NOTE: If you do not see a success message but the same Password Reset webpage/screen appears, please check if you typed the correct YSS Devotee Portal Email Address.

If you still do not get the success message, report your issue.

3. Please check your Email (Inbox) for any Password Reset Email from Yogoda Satsanga Society of India.

NOTE: Also, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder in the list of folders in your email, else wait for some time & check again.

If you do not receive an email from Yogoda Satsanga Society of India with the temporary password, report your issue.

4. Your Password Reset Email with TEMPORARY PASSWORD is shown below

NOTE: You can copy the password, or it is advisable to note/write the temporary password on a paper.



5. On your web browser, open the webpage https://devotees.yssofindia.org



6. After entering your email id and password, Tap/click Submit at the bottom of the screen.


7. You will see a Welcome to Devotee Portal! message on Successful Login.


8. Now, on your web browser, go back to Convocation Registration page, and follow the convocation registration instructions and enter your email id and the new temporary password you have received from YSS and register for the convocation.

9. Wishing you a blissful Convocation of peace, love and joy.


Report your issue


If you are unable to register for the convocation, please provide us your details so that one of our YSS volunteers can help you.

On your browser, open the page http://yssi.org/YSSform, fill in the following details and click Submit.

  • Select the issue you are facing
  • Other details - Lesson Reg. Number, Full Name, Email Address, Mobile number, Communication address (provided to Ranchi for receiving lessons)
